It typically appears after the age of 40, causing difficulty in reading, especially under low-light conditions.<\/p><p>Presbyopia occurs in all individuals, regardless of gender or whether they already have another refractive error (<a href=\"https:\/\/eye-center.gr\/myopia\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"\u039c\u03c5\u03c9\u03c0\u03af\u03b1\">myopia<\/a>, hyperopia, astigmatism). In many myopic patients, presbyopia symptoms appear much later than the age of 40 and can be partially compensated by removing their myopic glasses. This loss of flexibility occurs due to aging.
