Inflammations

Service

These are eye conditions affecting the uveal tract. The uveal tract is located between the outer sclera (the white of the eye) and the inner retina. It consists of the iris, the ciliary body, and the choroid. Depending on the anatomical region involved, uveitis is classified as:

  • Anterior
  • Intermediate
  • Posterior
  • When all three regions are affected simultaneously, the condition is referred to as pan-uveitis.
